Mentorship for Texas Public Adjusters

Adjusters already call Michael for advice. Now it’s a real program.

Michael Acerra holds a Texas public adjuster license, is Xactimate Certified, and spent years on the insurance-company side of the table before switching to represent property owners. Adjusters regularly reach out for help on tough claims — and this is where that guidance is now structured.

Who this is for

Working adjusters

Already licensed and taking claims, but want a second set of eyes on complex files, negotiation strategy, or a stuck claim.

New licensees

You have your license and want real-world preparation — how to document, estimate, and handle your first claims with confidence.

Mentorship is for licensed public adjusters only. If you’re not yet licensed, this program isn’t the right fit.

01 — Free 15-minute call

A short, no-cost call to understand what you’re working on and whether Michael is the right person to help. No obligation.

02 — Consultation ($250)

A focused, paid session on your specific claim or question — strategy, documentation, estimating, or negotiation. This is where the real work happens.

03 — Ongoing mentorship

If you decide to continue with ongoing mentorship, the cost of your first consultation is applied toward it. You get continued guidance as your claims and career move forward.

As-Needed

One focused, one-on-one session on a specific claim or question. No commitment. The fee is credited if you move to a monthly plan.

Priority

Two sessions a week by phone or Zoom, plus priority access during business hours when a claim is on the line. Michael as a partner on your toughest files.

Start with a call

Every mentorship starts with a quick conversation. Call to see if it’s a fit.

Apply for the free 15-minute call

No pitch on this call. You explain where you are, Michael tells you whether the program is a fit and what he would do first. If it is not a fit, he will say so.

Questions adjusters ask

Do I need a license before we start?

No. Some people come in already working claims, others are still deciding whether to get licensed. The starting point is different, the call is the same.

Is this a course?

No. There is no video library and no cohort. It is direct access to a working public adjuster on the claims and decisions in front of you right now.

Will you look at my actual files?

Yes — that is most of what the weekly and priority tiers are for. Scope, estimate, carrier correspondence, and what to say next.

Do you mentor people in my market?

Michael works Central Texas and San Antonio. Mentorship is not limited to Texas, but state licensing rules and carrier behavior differ, and he will tell you where his experience stops being directly transferable.

What if I only need help once?

That is what the as-needed consultation is for. One session, one problem, no commitment beyond it.
